Bear with me

Bear with me guys. I’m about to be thrown into a universe of “what’s that? you want free time? FUCK YOU! GET BACK TO WORK!”, as I’m expecting to receive the books tomorrow. All sixty-six, 35lb boxes of them. So I assume most of my Tuesday will be spent hauling them into my apartment and figuring out how to stack them so that I still have a path from the bed to the bathroom. If I’m lucky, I can actually start signing some of them.

I’ve also gotta keep up on the daily strip, and get some stuff ready for the upcoming conventions which… oh shit… ConnectiCon is in 2 weeks, isn’t it? Yeesh.

So yeah, my point is, I’m going to be pretty busy. The good news is, the book should start shipping by the end of this week. I want to stress that it’s going to be a somewhat slow process. Meaning, I don’t want anyone emailing me on Monday saying “why haven’t I gotten my book yet?!”, alright? It’s honestly going to take probably 2-3 weeks to get all of these out. And as I said before, the first orders are being shipped first.

Anyway, on Saturday my girlfriend Ellen and I drove up to Washington DC to see Spiderman 2 with Hawk, Ananth and Emily. We had a lot of fun hanging out with them; they’re really cool people. And to top it all off, the movie was fucking incredible. The entire group of us was giddy for the rest of the afternoon. I’m still floating on residual effects of glee produced by the train scene (possible my favorite scene in the movie). Go see it.

We took a group picture, but I’m still debating whether or not to show you. I was berating Hawk for making me be in a picture when the camera went off, so I have a silly mid-talk look on my face.

And go pick up the Spiderman 2 video game. I’ve been playing it as much as possible over the weekend, and it’s totally fun. I’m just still in shock over how well a movie-license game has been executed in this case.
