If you cut Anakin from the prequels they could be pretty good.

Frankly, I don’t get why people hate on G.L. Jar Jar was quite overboard, yes, and that WAS G.L’s fault.
BUT: Those such as Anakin’s inability to do acting are the actors fault for not actually trying.
As for the game: This made me laugh so much. It’s like trying to do an extremely accurate form of the Police Side of GTA. Which I think they did, but still. It is just so hard to do without resorting to hilarity.
Mr. Lucas wanted Hayden in that role. He hand picked him for it. That guy was his Anakin. So yea, still to blame there. Also, he wrote the horrible romance dialog and directed the whole thing. At most you might be able to shrug some blame off onto the yes-men who didn’t have the balls to stand up to Lucas and say “Hey, this is a big pile of shit, kinda like the last one you made was… maybe we shouldn’t do it your way”

And here I thought the original trilogy was amazing.

G.L is definitely to blame for quite a few issues but there are those who basically say that “oh, he was bad on this set, so anything he directs/thinks of is therefore trash”. For all we know, his plans for Episode VII might have been borderline perfection. We don’t know.
I strongly feel that actors inability to perform is the directors fault, they do hiring, scripting, and are on sight for filling and editing, if they fall to achieve a decent performance, sure the actor doesn’t advance their career, but really the director is to blame.
To be fair in real life history, trade disputes, tariffs and taxation have actually started wars, so the idea is not so far fetched, neither is it that a corporation would start a war, see the history of some Venetian companies.

There was a great edit on yourtube for a while called the “Anti-cheese” edit. It made the movie way more watchable.
