Shazam!

I’m going to be calling the printer today in hopes that they can give me an estimated date of when they’ll ship the books to me. It shouldn’t be too much longer. I’ll post here once I know.

It’s been a while since I pointed you to any new webcomics, probably because there hasn’t been anything new that’s caught my eye. Until now, that is. Spells and Whistles has been in my bookmarks for a little while now, and it’s shaping up to be a pretty nifty comic. The art is very attractive, and I think a lot of you will enjoy it, so head over and check it out.

The man behind the comic, Tauhid Bondia, also recently whipped up this bit of artwork which includes a pretty cool take on Ethan and Lucas.

I’m starting to gear up for the conventions, first ConnectiCon and then Otakon.

I’ll be choosing my teammates for the ConnectiCon WebComic Challenge sometime this week, so if you applied, keep an eye on your inbox. I’m also pretty sure I’m going to be auctioned off. A few weeks ago, Matt mentioned an auction with proceeds going to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. Either that or I was asleep and dreamed all of this. I’ll post more details once I talk to him about it.

And in closing, this is wonderful and tragic at the same time. Fucking Interplay finally realizes that they have a diamond in the rough with the Fallout franchise, and that I alone would purchase like, fifty gazillion accounts if they made a Fallout MMORPG, not to mention all of the other rabid fans out there. But of course they realize this JUST as they’re about to go fucking bankrupt. God damnit.

I hope they make a Fallout game and it does so well that it pulls their asses out of the fire, and then I want to see Herve Caen kneel down and kiss Pip Boy’s toes in fealty.
