The one for the ages

Comic Stuff:

This will be the last newspost until next week. I’m leaving for Baltimore, Maryland to attend Otakon. I’ll be down in the dealer’s room with The ZeStuff crew, Brian “Hurricane Magnet” Clevinger, and Scott “Mackerel is my favorite color” Ramsoomair. Be sure to come say hello. I’ll be easy to find. Just look for the HUGE Ctrl+Alt+Del banner with Ethan and Lucas on it.

I’ll be back around Monday. Monday’s comic may be up a little late, depending on what time I get back and how tired I am. You have been forewarned.

World of Warcraft stuff:

Being a part of The Rapscallions and The Bloody Carrots has been a blast. I’ve been grouping with members of both guilds, and everyone I’ve met so far has been really great.

I’ve also had more than a few encounters with members of Panda Attack, and they have all turned out to be really awesome people as well.

It’s just generally a really friendly atmosphere which amplifies the gun factor by a gazillion and two. It doesn’t even bother me if I have to wait in line for thirty minutes to get in, because I know once I’m in I’ll be having such a good time. I just start the game thirty minutes before I plan to play.

The Rapscallions has hit 500 members (more than that actually, it just stops counting at 500) and The Bloody Carrots are growing fast. Currently recruiting for The Rapscallions is closed.

Anyone in The Rapscallions who is not level 5 by Monday will be removed from the guild. Level 5 takes all of 10 minutes to get, so it should be no problem for even people with busy schedules. Then a short time afterwards I will purge everyone under level 10. By then some spots in the guild will have freed up, and we will open recruiting again to players Level 10 and up.

There are currently no leveling requirements for The Bloody Carrots.

One last thing. I’m here to play the game just like the rest of you. I hope to get to group/raid with each and every one of you at some point. While I’m leveling, I usually have a Do Not Disturb message up. If I don’t respond to you, please don’t think I’m ignoring you. I play a Priest. In groups it is my job to keep people alive. I can’t do that job if I am trying to answer sixty /tells at once.

So please just try to understand that as much as I would love to sit and chat with everyone, if I was doing that, I wouldn’t be leveling up at all. And I’m here to play just like everyone else.

FOR THE HORDE!
