Lucas touched on something that really drives a lot of online vitriol these days: jealousy. It’s what drives people to tear down the rich and famous, to jump on every article that exposes those peoples flaws and gloat or insult them. I bet behind the mystery The Troll was just some loser with an empty and meaningless life who was jealous of the superhero community so he started going after them to make himself feel better over what a nobody he was.
I don’t think the majority of people who like to tear down the rich and famous are doing it out of jealousy. I think a lot of them see these people as problematic examples of an unequal society. They oppose them not because they’re jealous but because they see them as a danger to society. Whether they are right or wrong, that’s not jealousy.
Or that’s the righteous-sounding reason they give to wallpaper over their jealousy XD
You have a much more generous view of humanity than I do, because I’ll bet most of that “majority” you’re assuming exist would swap places with the filthy rich in a heartbeat, their precious principles be damned 😉

It’d be amazing if half life 3 did realease this fall.
I know a guy who predicted a plane crash similar way. Tried later with lottery numbers but it didn’t work.
