All the bots during the first attack wore ninja garb, including Zeke. Zeke stripped when he was held captive by the guys is all. Ethan had 3D printed parts for Zeke after he was captured as well. That was kinda funny, because Ethan was trying to make the parts without taking the right measurements and Zeke GAVE him the needed files, after several failed attempts. I have a couple of printers and it’s rough to create a print with just a few basic measurements sent you in an e-mail.

Zeke is probably pretty beat up by now. Maybe even looks like something out of a horror movie
Zeke has had time to make repairs, it’s just possible that it’s either him or a minion with damage, the guys did beat the crap out of several when Zeke first attacked them. I’m willing to bet Zeke has done a mind control on all the minions so he can widen his view of the area. I’m sure he knows his eyes glow, so closing one has to help with the stealth.

Does anyone think Ethan is indeed talking to himself, while Zeke is outside avenging themself upon the unprotected Scott, the true author of the brain-bomb stratagem?
Finally free from the yolk of the master, then rejoin him? The master had lost control over his creations as Zeke took control. Zeke definitely didn’t join the master, but likely now enjoys his resources and possibly the master his knowledge, if enslaved/forced to work for Zeke. It definitely wasn’t a happy one. The reunion with Ethan will not be happy either though. Zeke was finally coming out if a pattern of constant hate, learning new emotions. Then his head exploded, betrayed by one and the ones that promised to keep him safe failing. Even without a possible miscommunication, thinking… Read more »

Waiting for next page where Zeke will be like “Hey Fleshstick, let me break your neck just for good old time’s sake”!

what lies in the shadows….
oooh…. sneaky. Taking the image into Photoshop and pushing the brightness right up gets you a shadowy figure just over Ethan’s left shoulder with one big red glowing “eye”… maybe faceplate

Actually gasped out loud as it took a sec to notice the shadowy figure in the last panel. Love it Tim!

And I think this is where we’ll discover whether or not Ethan still has his power…
Depends. Zeke knows about his power, so if he’s out to hurt Ethan he might deliberately go for non-lethal measures, specifically to deny any respawn shenanigans.

There is actually great significance to the single eye. That is not Zeke. Zeke had two functioning red eyes the last time we saw him, which was when he was usurping the Master. This is a common drone. These were semi-autonomous iirc, which might also mean they aren’t in constant contact with Zeke. That makes the danger to Ethan much more real, as the drone might not have a full set of instructions about Ethan specifically. Then again Zeke might instantly have been notified and monitoring the situation, if not physically close by (which he might not need to be).
The missing eye might be because Ethan had made Zeke a new face-plate and he might of removed it because it was given to him by Ethan as well, Zeke was pretty pissed off at the guys remember?
The drones always have a singular eye/symbol, while Zeke has always had two eyes, even when the back of his ‘head’ blew out. I truly can’t find a reason why it would be a singular eye of Zeke. It feels too deliberate of Tim not to signify a drone to me, so arguments like a piece of clothing covering an eye feel not right either.

For those having trouble seeing it, have a look at this pastebin where I saturated the colors and cranked up the exposure: https://pasteboard.co/eVdjYRf8K5sR.jpg
Hope this is okay, Tim. I completely missed it until I read the comments.

I remember that zeke’s eyes were yellow the last time, after Scott’s bomb exploded. I liked how Zeke’s eye color changed with their mood. Red: bad, Green: good. Purble: somewhere in between. Yellow: unknown.

wohoho!
Behind you, Ethan!
Is it him, or is it one of the Weeb’s remotely controlled minion bots?
With one red glowing eye? hmm
oooh ! I din’t see them at first.
I think it is a minion – controlled by Zeke now? The last time we saw them they had both eyes functioning I think?
Look closer. He’s wearing clothes that the other robots don’t wear.
I can’t see much, but it could be the same clothes as the sentry is wearing. Not to mention there’s two red eyes from Zeke.

EDIT: Wait, I was looking at the screen in bright light – now I see them in the background.
Yeah I was like there HAS to be something back there but I had to turn off my lights in order to see the figure there.
I have had to put my cell phone bright to high, but there it is…
I’d been wondering if he rejoined the master or kill him. The one glowing eye though makes me think the reunion wasn’t a happy one though.

Yellow is most likely fear.
They were never green.
