However (this is not a critique, just an observation and interpretation) the angle of Ethans chin is inclined a little too sharply for the level of regret that I feel like you were trying to convey. He looks more “I killed your dog” in this than “aw shucks, you caught me in a fib.” Again, long time fan and permanent lurker. Compared to the fact that Ethan and Lucas had this conversation while wandering through their apartment, the fact that his chin was dipped a little too much didn’t throw me off at all.
I guess, but it is really the same room. I don’t know where the middle two panels were (nothing in the background) but, looking from the readers’ perspective, the 1st and 4th were contiguous with the 4th being right of the 1st. There is a sign of the chest of drawers. It amazes me they have two doors on the same wall. It must be an interesting layout. To have that kind of single room suggests a large apartment (or I assume there is an apartment… is it a house?).
Surprising, how Ethan doesnt care that their identities got leaked out. Or was it just some packet loss that happened while he was coming up with some ridiculous story that is more important ? 😀
Ethan’s brain misfiring is so out of character, how could you wonder that? 😛

Wow like he’s a character who feels things very strongly and has extreme reactions to things. That would be out of character.
Especially when you add in the aspect of “I wasn’t thinking about the lottery or disappointed about not winning before… but I am now”
