I’m not sure is “setting” is the right word but media where a tiny person is in a normal sized world and has use regular sized objects to deal with huge environments like a thimble for a helmet or whatever is just my absolute favorite. It’s just neat to see how someone 5 inches tall would need to platform across a whole house as if it’s a city and use toothpicks as a spear.
Thank you so much for this suggestion. Looks like it won’t ship until December so it’ll be a great Christmas gift for my TTRPG playing boyfriend that I can join in on.

You don’t need to scatter the bits on purpose, just when the time is right, you will find those that fell from the hobby table and disappeared…it is foretold
So … CAD 2.0 is where we see what is going on in Ethan’s brain and reality ?

Man the new Pikmin looks amazing! And that soundtrack is crazy good. I never thought they’d go ‘Offspring for that franchise. Maybe it’s just the trailer?

Wait… TWO Grounded games??? I played only one. It was called “grounded”. It was hard.
Grounded 2 comes out as Early Access end of July i think. They want to repeat the process of the first version with a good Early Access phase.
I can’t wait, although i will wait this time a bit longer before jumping in.

I learned this lesson a long time ago, from the 1964 Doctor Who story Planet of Giants.

I mean, they are superheroes in world where superpowers exist and at least one mad villain built a fully functional genocidal android. Some villain trying to shrink some expensive stuff to better steal it (e.g. Switch 2s in a local game store) and accidentally hitting them isn’t THAT far fetched…
If you like survival craft’em-ups with an actual story, and really enjoyed Honey, I Shrunk the Kids when you were younger (I loved it when it came to the theatre), I think you will fall in love this with one as much as I have.

HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAaaahhhhhh.
For some reason I found this very very funny. It might be the meds, lack of coffee, having a five year old and no sleep, who knows? But it was entirely to risible for comfort… because I fell out of my seat a little.

I don’t know about prepping to be shrunk, but there’s a lot of problems in our modern world that could be made better with judicious use of shrink ray technology.

Had lots of fun in the first Grounded, though I never beat it.
Probably won’t touch it, or Grounded 2, because I played Grounded with my now ex. The memories are tainted.
The only suggestion I can come up wit hwould be to start a new game and build your base (in my case, multi-story mushroom castle) somewhere else so you can make it your won.
otherwise, sorry to hear that the memory and ability to play something so awesome is tainted that bad for you right now.

they shouldn’t just be scattered on the floor, you need to put them in mini lockers stragically placed about where they won’t get sweeped up or hovered up in error

If you’re into TTRPGs, may I suggest you to have a look at Household?

But first you shall have to do battle with the carpet monster before it yields the prize to you.
by salaman in accounting?
If this were the original series, Ethan would be insane.
In the Analog and D-Pad verse tho, that’s a legit possibility.
3D print some little lockers to put the armor in around the house. Little emergency stashes.

People seem to get powers from games. Be funny if other software got included too.
“I was struck by lightning working in Clip Studio Paint.”
-So what can you do? Make drawings come to life or something?
“No I was using the marquee tool at the time.”
-That sounds lame.
*Summons Scale Tool and shrinks them*
-*tiny squeaky yelling*
given they exist in a world of super powers… not an implausible concern
I swear I hope one day they get shrunk by a shrink ray just so ethan can gloat
HAHAHAHA!!! We Gen X’ers were always under the impression that Quicksand, Piranhas and Sharks were going to be every-day hazards for us…
This is where I get my game updates. Many thanks Tim.
I never played Grounded, but the trailers look cool, and I’m extremely fond of Dan Bull’s song “So Close to Home.”

Oh great chalk up another one for my paranoia.
