Man, that reminds me of something. I saw this Lara Croft cosplay the other day. It was very authentic to tomb raider 1,which is to say that the cosplay artist had a triangular uniboob.
Lara has been outdone a thousand times over the past couple decades, and she was completely butchered in her new phase because western devs are scared of sex appeal anymore
You mean the young Lara from the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy?!
What’s wrong with her?
Waaait, you can not mean that version. She looks like a quite regular female of her age. Stronger and more fit than the regular tho.
No point in trying to have a conversation with these… “people”. They just scream “woke” at everything and don’t have the skills to make actual conversation.
My comment has nothing to do with “woke”. I’m not one of those insufferable anti-woke POS losers, and I’m not sure how you jumped to such a conclusion.
I’m a big LGBTQ+ supporter and have enjoyed many games the anti-wokes complain about.
You shouldn’t criticize someone’s conversation abilities when you yourself immediately jump to culture warring without knowing anything about the person you’re attacking.
Congratulations. You just became one of ‘the 1%’ as I’ve come to call it. You didn’t agree 100% with the full current ideology, so now you’re no better than all the ‘alt-right weirdos’. The tiniest difference of opinion, just 1%, is too much difference for them. So they ignore context, jump to conclusions, and label you as part of the enemy. I didn’t mind Abbey’s story in TLoU2, just thought it could have been done, with the same kind of impact and messaging as *her own* story, without crapping on the previous characters. Still got/get called -ist or -phobe for… Read more »
all I’m saying is it’d be nice to hook up with people who actually share my hobbies and don’t just roll smile, nod, roll their eyes, and say “i don’t understand” when i try to talk about them.
We’re all locked indoors playing video games anyways, we don’t know where to go or what to do to meet people outside. It could be good for finding people who share your interests in your local area.

Who else would have just let Ethan find out all this on his first date?
Only if I could have come along to watch – although my constant giggles might have been a give-a-way.

Why would anyone want to do that to a video game character??
I play video games because I don’t have to do that at all. And to escape real people.
So it kina misses the point. Just like dating apps: using internet so that I don’t have to deal with people, someone uses to meet people. What the hell man?!
I literally mean no offense at all, but… are you past retirement age, by any chance?
That’s the only thing that I can really imagine, with an opinion like that.
That sounds like an opinion that was made in 1998 and never adjusted.
More people game to interact with others than ever before, and meeting people online is honestly the #1 way of finding someone.
People seek out like-minded people who share the same interests, hobbies, beliefs. The internet makes that all possible.
Also… you ARE communicating with real people right now on the Internet about gaming.
I’m 42 right now.
“People seek…” well I don’t.
No social media.
No dating apps.
Just playing video games to pass the time between work and sleep and browsing internet for funny comic or cat videos if there’s nothing to play. Sometimes I comment when I see something out of place.
Why people get friends or relationships? No idea.
Because Rule 34 had been a thing since the birth of the Internet practically.
And people have *always* found ways to be horny over fictional characters.

I’m morbidly curious if this app is a real thing or if it’s made up for the gag here. But it’s probably better I don’t know, my faith in humanity can only take so much damage
If it’s any reassurance, I hadn’t heard of such a thing, did a quick Google and was vaguely reassured to find that apparently there does not seem to be such a thing…
Let’s hope this finding is correct, because I don’t want a deeper dive in my search history.
Then to think the previous page comments were thinking this would be about grinding levels. So innocent
Well… that actually went not as badly as expected. And Teemo bottom does sound like he has a relatable (favorability) ranking.
Puhhh saved, before Ethan ends up in a Gimpsuit like in Postal 2 …
Which was absolutely taken fro Pulp Fiction, btw.
So what is that app exactly?
Is it to meet with other fellow humans, dressed in cosplay, and role-playing as the character they try to represent?
Or is it an AI-powered app where used chat with some LLM pretending to incarnate the characters?
Was wondering the same
He’s being “flooded with matches” so it’s obviously match with other humans, not chat with generative AI slop.
Given the prevalence of bot accounts on daying apps can we really be sure of that?
I haven’t seen any bot accounts at all this month. Plenty of classic scammers and insta/SC/OF shills, though.
I mean, I’m pretty sure like 80% of the dating world would find at least one video game character attractive.
*insert leisure-suit Waluigi with a rose in his teeth*
Teemo bottom? Wow you dirty boy~
There are some really nice looking female characters, Lara Croft comes to mind 🙂

I strongly suspect they’re saying the person commenting on how Lara Croft isn’t sexy anymore was one of the anti-woke idiots, not you.
That’s the same person. xD

Afaik, there’s another game being worked on now, with new designs that leaked. And word is she looks rather… ‘homely’ now.
Aloy from Horizon is the modern equivalent that comes to mind.

sorry did not mean to send twice
Hmm him actually ending up with a cosplayer may not be a bad thing, both for his alter and his main job.
Great. Now I need to know how that combination looks… xD
All due respect, but why ISN’T there a dating app for people who love to play video games?
The condescending jokes write themselves.

Ok I’m calm now.
Please continue.
