I find it nice that Elijah still tries to get cooperation, about ten pages into the fight. He really doesn’t want to hit the kid, apparently.
I still hope he’ll change sides, so there will be a speedster vs speedster fight.
No, that’s a lie to appease his own twisted morals from “needing” to hurt GameBoy before the fact.
In matters of morals and intentions ‘adding “but” in there proves everything you said prior to be a lie’.
It’s toxic blame shifting. No better than R-ists that say stuff like ‘well if she didn’t wear such a revealing outfit I wouldn’t have had the urge’. Elijah’s lost, and needs to be locked up.
That being said, if he charges Game Boy, and Game Boy freezes him…
… I’m picturing Elijah becoming the superhero version of Truls Hellevik. 🫢

I thought Gameboy has to touch things again to unpause them, and Elijah just KO’d the one guy who could actually get him back up there.
Also Omnitropolis is a weird city. I’m not aware of many giant cities chock full of gun shops. They’re usually quite restrictive about guns in general, and they’re about the last place I’d choose to try to shop for one (though, technically, I have always owned zero by choice anyway, and have only ever used one about four times in my entire life).
