I’ve long had my eye on Satisfactory, but when it hit 1.0 last fall I really wanted to finally give it a try, which my friends and I have done recently. And boy, let me tell you, it has been a minute since 3am snuck up on me like this.

How does it feel? In my exp it can feel gross like fogginess and jetlag, or kinda like a cozy blanket burrito time to have that level of flow if it has been a while and isn’t trapping you for weeks of wanting to do other stuff.

Yep, thats Satisfactory. Just one more tube to build, one more conveyor belt to connect, only one more imbalance to even out in production, and make sure enough water gets to the power plants to not kill all production due to power outage.

A game about being a hardworker guy and destroy everything to get the best factory?
That’s…well
Ah, this brings nice memories during school holidays.
When I hear the first birds singing outside. Okay, but just one more turn.
When I hear the first morning bus drive past. Damn, it’s really getting late. But I just need to do that one last thing. Just… one… more… turn…
First rays of morning sun shining through my window. Huh, maybe I did play a bit too long?

Oh, I did not realize Ethan et al. story would be leaving for now. That said, enjoy your game, Tim.

Three weeks? Either your facial hair grows veeeery slowly, or you got up to shave in the meantime.
Factorio is not for everyone, but for the people it is for… its more addictive than all the hard drugs combined.

This happened to me for the first time in a while with Hytale a couple days ago. Kept exploring and poking at things and unlocking stuff and *poof* I was up a couple hours past when I intended to go to bed because I had to work in the morning.

Yeah, I have been on a little bender when it comes to factory building games lately. Satisfactory, Factorio, Foundry, Astro Colony, The Planet Crafter, and Captain of Industry. The only reason The Crust is not on the list is because I am waiting for the 1.0 to start a play-through again.
Damn these titles are a time warp. Let me, just go… one… …

I haven’t played Satisfactory (yet) but recently I started playing games on my new laptop that can actually run things and let me tell you Civilization 5 has been soaking up so many hours I find myself feeling like I just barely sat down by the time I need to go to sleep. It’s been a long time since a game has grabbed me like that. I love it.
I’ve been much the same way recently since I tried Warhammer: Gladius, which is basically Warhammer the civilization game. If it was civilization where every faction were aggressive warmongers so you are in constant warfare while trying to expand your cities; and having 20 ‘neutral’ factions harassing you every time you stick a toe into their general vicinity serving as speedbumps. I gave it a try after someone recommended it because hey 20 bucks, if nothing else I’ll play a few games and it’ll be worth it. I now own about $120 in DLC and systematically playing through all the… Read more »

The game truly does feel Satisfactory. I’ve spent many an hour on the earlier builds, but have still held off doing my 1.0 run. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to escape back to reality after starting that journey.

Nothing in the world like waking up in your chair/couch having passed out from exhaustion because you just couldn’t stop playing a game to go to bed.
When a game pulls you in THAT hard, it’s an amazing thing. Especially in this day and age, it’s been a long time since a game sucked me in that hard lol

I´ve picked up Slormancer about yesterday, it´s been a month since. My already unhealthy sleep schedule has been even more disrupted.

Hardworking *gal*, actually.
So THAT’S why you’re doing two updates a week now. 😉
… Also, I feel this in my soul. The factory MUST grow… ðŸ«
Hey hey, don’t tell him about Cracktorio. We don’t want him down to one update a week.
The game truly is masterful at consuming you.
Civ 4 & 5 did this for me.
Me too. This is why Civilization IV has a built-in alarm clock, to remind you when it’s time to do annoying things like eating or sleeping or working.

His wife gently shaved him while holding back tears, patiently waiting for the day he would come back to her.
The children were in charge of carefully guiding soft foods into his mouth.
And they probably hired a caretaker for the… wastes.
Cartman: Mom! Bathroom!
Factorio did this to me when it went 1.0
No wonder everyone online calls it Cracktorio
And it has free demo which usually takes like 15h for the first timers to get through.
The first hit is always free…
I started playing during 0.6. It’s only become more crack worthy ever since. Factorio is also scarily addictive.
