Ethan

Ethan McManus, AKA Analog

Owner of GameHaven/Super Hero

Ethan is a passionate gamer whose enthusiasm often exceeds his common sense. He is the majority owner of GameHaven, a small games retailer in Omnitropolis, which he runs with Lucas.

The store property was left to Ethan when his parents moved away from the city, following the death of his sister, Carlie. Shortly after renovating and reopening the store as GameHaven, Ethan and Lucas were involved in a freak series of events that granted them both super powers.

Ethan now respawns after death, returning to his last completely healthy state of being. The true nature of his powers, along with any limitations, remains a mystery.

Lucas

Lucas Davidovicz, AKA D-Pad

Owner of GameHaven/Super Hero

Lucas is laid-back and relatively level headed, and and has been friends with Ethan since early childhood. When Ethan inherited storefront property in Omnitropolis, the two friends worked together to realize their dream of owning their own game store.

Despite the challenges of running a brick-and-mortar game store in an increasingly digital age, Lucas’ expansion into tabletop and card games, especially his beloved Warhammer) helps round out the business.

Alongside Ethan in the same accident involving a rare arcade game, an unidentified chemical and an opportune lightning strike, Lucas can now summon hardened energy constructs in the form of classic video game directional arrows.

Scott

Scott Vogel

Friend, Confidant, Backer

Scott was engaged to Ethan’s sister, Carlie. When the two of them were set upon by a violent mugger, Scott was shot trying to shield Carlie from the attack.

Carlie was killed, and Scott was left paralyzed from the waist down as a result of his injuries. He spiraled into a deep depression following the events, until Ethan and Lucas’ accident. Seeing an opportunity to give his life purpose again by helping stop criminals in Omnitropolis from hurting anyone, Scott agreed to help Ethan and Lucas in their aspirations to become super heroes.

A very talented engineer and coder, Scott had previously developed a couple of popular apps which he would sell for significant profit. It is that financial stability that Scott uses to bankroll Analog and D-Pad, making sure they have the equipment and technology needed to fight crime, as well as often functioning as the brains behind their operation.

Lilah

Lilah Monroe

Reporter

Lilah Monroe is a reporter for the Omnitropolis News Network (ONN). While she began with the organization as a video-game reporter and reviewer, her desire was to be promoted to the super hero beat, covering the city’s many super-power related activities.

With the appearance of Analog and D-Pad in the city, Lilah recognized her opportunity to cross over, using their video-game theme as justification to get her foot in the door. Lilah has since developed a relationship with the super hero duo, feeding them information she may discover in exchange for exclusive interviews and stories. Though she still has to fight her co-worker Jackson for the best assignments, Lilah has established herself as one of ONN’s super-hero reporting team.

Analog has developed a crush on Lilah, but she has made it clear that she has to remain focused on her job, and cannot risk mixing business and personal relationships.
