It’s been a little while since I’ve asked you all to take a peek at something I feel is a good cause, but this one hits pretty close to home. Both because I’m a parent now and I am regularly reminded to be thankful my son is healthy by the nightmare of that not being the case, and because one of my wife’s friends is now living that nightmare.
Matthew Frank McMinn, son of Michael and Nicole McMinn, was born July 15, 2015 after a healthy pregnancy. Complications during the delivery have required him to be hospitalized since birth. He has been transferred from hospital to hospital ever since and is suffering from seizures. After many tests and different medications the doctors are having a difficult time with diagnosis
Due to this, they need to have baby Matthew transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital. Boston Children’s Hospital has over 50 pediatric neurologists and is ranked one of the top in the country. Mike and Nicole’s medical insurance will not cover the transportation nor any of his medical expenses once transferred. The expenses will add up fast.
I only ask that you take a look and consider tossing a dollar their way. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but I’ve seen what you guys can do for situations like this, and those small donations can add up to a big difference really quickly.
