The taller Lillah with disproportionately long and skinny legs looks weird. I get it that the art style has shifted a bit towards more anime-like vertically stretched proportions and it hadn’t bothered me at all, I hadn’t even really noticed, until that first panel here.
Yes, but only if Lilah becomes the love interest; otherwise, no dice. And yes, I say ‘if’. Different universe and all. And as cool as it would be to see Ethan and Lilah together, a sometimes protagonist / sometimes antagonist would be really interesting. After all, she’s been itching to get on the superhero beat for a while, and has already written a sensationalist article to prove her worth to the newspaper. While that would be intriguing, I would like to clarify that I did not have Lilah being a love interest in mind. Well, not necessarily because that WAS their 1.0 interaction.
What had in mind works even if the relation is hardly platonic: a simple “oh my god you killed her” works on a recognized face almost as well as a loved one.
Makes no sense to kill Captain Prime. She’s the perfect antithesis to these two…Yeah I said it…Lilah is Captain Prime. What of it?

At last she is back. I have been waiting for her reintroduction since the end of the original story. While I will always miss the original series, I’m excited to see where this world will go! Carry on my friend.

i prefer the regular gaming joke strip, when are we going back to that? If you want to do a story aec type strip, maybe make a separate strip for that?
Hi, welcome to Ctrl+Alt+Del. A website where I post all sorts of comics, and it bounces back and forth between stories and one shots, has been that way for fifteen years, and is not going to change.
Still looking forwards to the next Starcaster. Any chance for that in 2018? Also, the very first issue of A&D made me wonder how much I could get into it, but 2-5 have really shored up my support, I’m reaaaally digging the new stuff, good job again Tim.
But also my first question stands. Any chance for next Starcaster in 2018?

Having scam ads that take over the screen on my tablet does not make reading your comic a better experience.
Not entirely related, but you have video ads cutting off your other video ads. Not sure what the original ad is even for, presumably lego, but an ExxonMobil ad cut it off 3 times.

Take that as a complement. The new story is AMAZING, and I’ve read your stuff since about… 2006? By far only gotten better with time 🙂

I’ve been reading CAD since day 1. I loved the first group and was sad when it ended. I’ve LOVED the Console Wars. The WoW jokes from way back I still have saved on my computer. The team up you did with Applegeeks several years ago was cool too, as I loved that comic as well. Overall, I just want to say keep up the good work, Tim, and thank you. I’m really enjoying 2.0 as well. On a side note, back when Winter-een-mas was first created here, I thought it was an awesome idea, and started talking about it… Read more »

I used to read CAD in high school…10+ years ago. I hadn’t seen it since then and was curious to know if it was still around. My first instinct was to be astounded at the new art style and pissy, of course, that Ethan seemed to be with “some other girl”. Then I realised that this was a new subcomic and checked out the ending of the original CAD. I was very sad. I then scrolled through the archives of this new storyline just to find when Ethan and Lilah would meet again, not knowing if she had even been… Read more »

Issue 5 will end just in time fort a short Winter-een-mas story, and then I expect I’ll do one-shots in February.
