I think that explanation is at the core of every explanation out there.
PS. Tim, you should correct the arrow key handling on the site. Using arrows to navigate comment text while editing (left/right) causes the pages to switch. The comment box should be an exception from that mechanism.

Respect on the wisdom of that last panel. I’m still processing that; not because of the complexity but the gravity.

Saving that last panel when someone points out something I have done is wild & unhinged, and points out a better solution.

How is that last panel so logical and so Ethan all at the same time? That’s 4-D chess level. Bravo.
Despite appearances, Ethan isn’t stupid. He’s impulsive! The most interesting part of this storyline is that he now has to slow down and think. I look forward to seeing how this growth pans out when he realizes he never lost his powers.

Oh definitely, when we only have our own logic we can’t fairly be held accountable for not using yours.

I’m so gonna use this in a discussion with my wife 😁
That last panel perfectly sums up my reaction to when someone points out I did something stupid, but way more eloquently than I could manage.

Why does the last panel feel like a discussion I have with my spouse?

I love his expression in the last panel, like even he’s struggling to follow his own train of thought.

You know, it’s been a while, i think i’ll read through the backlog for nostalgia’s sake *clicks first under comic, checks date* huh. 22 years. when i started it was only 2 years of backlog. i think i’ll just keep enjoying it in the moment
10/10 perfect explanation

It’s Wednesday, my dudes. Where strip?
It’s unusual for Tim to miss a day. Hope everything’s okay.
It’s unusual enough that I was questioning if it was Wednesday and went to check my calendar. I also hope everything is okay in the Buckley house.
Hope everything is ok with Tim.
