I have a sneaking suspicion, that lil’ gamboy is in for a rough night.

Can’t see the problem. Gameboy won’t know anything until a real violent problem will raise, which gives Ethan, like, two or three more panels to perdent that everything is OK
A violent problem also makes it very likely that Analog will take the hit to save Gameboy, and we’ll finally get the answer to whether or not his reset powers still work or not.

Here’s an interesting question that was never answered directly: is Gameboy registered? He doesn’t really have a secret identity and is doing it for a community service extracurricular for college applications, so I’d assume he *probably* is. But all we really know is his mom encouraged him to do this, just not too far from home.
That brings up an interesting question that I was just about to ask before I read your answer; if it’s illegal to register before the age of 18, what are the laws when it comes to underage superheroes? And are they required to go to a special school or something like that like some other superhero universes have (ie. X-Men and the Xavier Institute)?
I’d imagine that he’d have a provisional license, or a superhero-ing permit, sort of like a driver’s permit. But it has certain stipulations like “sticking to street-level” crime, or only from the hours of 2-10. Something like that. Or under the watchful eye of an experienced superhero (though nothing so far suggests that). I’m sure there’s something like that in a world that regulates superheroism/vigilantism.
Well if it’s supposed to be a secret, he could probably do a better job of hiding it than a see through visor.
Also if it is secret, how can he use it for college applications as he claimed? Just live as Gameboy forever? Because by 40 or 50 he’d probably at least have to change his name to something like GameDude or GameGuy. π

I wonder if Gameboy’s powers have advanced since we last saw him. Unlikely, but maybe he can help Ethan out.
He could’ve just hid behind the dumpster
But then he wouldn’t be Ethan
That would’ve been to far into the dark alley for him?
why hide BEHIND the dumpster when you can BE the dumpster!?
become one with the f… dumpster, ethan … π
Stop calling Ethan trash! π₯Ίπ
you assume a lot of thinking for ethan here.

Yes GameBoy has a secret identity… it’s GameBoy. And he cannot register, he is under 18.
