Yeah, but he is now a serial killer, there isn’t much going back from that.
What could possibly change his mind enough to convince him to turn himself to the police to face decades behind the bars?

Unless I’m completely misunderstanding him, Lucas intends to use Megagame (Thad’s digs) as bait for Elijah. My only problem with that plan is putting civvies in danger. If Elijah did indeed turn to lethal means, this puts Thad et al in the crosshairs of a murderer.
I *think* it’s the other way round, using Thad to make their own game store a target.
I’m not sure how that would work, but it’d be a lot easier to stake out (and set a trap at) their own store than at Megagame, and less dangerous for civilians too.
… I’m not a fan of “I didn’t tell Ben because this time we can help”, which sounds oxymoronic to my ears? So maybe I’m giving Lucas too much credit 😅
i like that idea.. but still.. relying on 1. Thad to act as they hope, 2. the “suspect” who is likely escalating because of trauma to act in a specific way when they can be very much unpredictable. if there is a third reason here it would be the tipping point of yo. we are relying on way to many moving parts all to work perfectly. and hopefully not get people killed.
Just works there, he’s not even the manager, as far as I understand

I wonder, if Analog and D-Pad set some bait for Elijah and he doesn’t show, should I say that he ghosted them OR that he wiggled his way out of that date?
Someone remind me, please. Who is Elijah?

How exactly can they reach a peaceful resolution there?
Best they can do would be to convince him to calm down to de-escalate his future actions, but that won’t bring back the murder victims.
They failed to change his mind last time, so I can’t imagine them being so successful this time that Elijah would surrender himself to the police.
By peaceful they likely mean “turn himself in” as opposed to “engage in a violent confrontation with police.”

Knowing Lucas, he will have taken extra precautions not to endanger civilians, although as they say “no plan survives contact with the enemy”…

yeah. this is very much fringe heroism. best laid plans often meet unplanned ends.
Thad is the guy who runs the other game store right?

ohhh noo…. come on.. you cannot use an unwilling person as bait for someone about to MURDER them.. guys! bad plan!!!!
This guy is so fast I don’t see how they’re gonna catch him.
Dollars to nuts that it’s not Elijah but somebody learned his backstory and is now trying to frame him.
