That’s 2 in a row where Lucas is plain dumb.

And HE is supposed to be the smart guy of the duo…

How is Lucas dumb here?

To be fair, he should’ve lead with, “I’m going to that taco place.” Saying he’s dumb here is a bit of a stretch though.

It is some trolling on my part: Ethan makes a face “how would you pay if the pizza is delivered here, you silly !”

Buyer dictates location unless health concerns. *Cough *Haaack *wheeeeze Taco Bell *snort *groan. Man spring time allergies really sneak up on you.

I’m sure the taco bell can figure out how to recreate their world famous pizza that they got rid of and I don’t know if they resumed making. OR there exist Taco Bell / Pizza Huts, often with a bonus KFC.

Anyone remember Demolition Man and the whole Taco Bell (original) vs Pizza Hut (“rebrand” for non-US distribution)?

To the best of my knowledge there’s only one ken-taco-hut left, and it’s in Puerto Rico.

They still make the pizza.

But anyone who says they’re going to “that taco place” is not talking about Taco Bell. That’s branding, baby. You’d never refer to McDonalds as “that burger place” or Subway as “that sandwich place,” the same way you would refer to La Taqueria Mexicana, or a local truck plastered with pictures of Mexican food with the words FRESH DELICIOUS TACOS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FLAVOR on the side, as “that taco place.”

If I ever refer to McDonald’s at all, I refer to it as that place where taste buds go to die. If I were to ever decide to binge and purge, that would be a good place to purge.

Last panel: Do the people at the taco place dream of pizza sheep?

Quesadilla? No, what Ethan wants is a Tostada. It’s far closer to pizza than a quesadilla is.

(Though for the ultimate compromise between the two, I’d recommend either taco pizza, which is delicious or Purrizzos, which are my own recipe.)

Take a tortilla, put some tomatospread on it, some meat and cheese, put it in oven for a moment. and voila Pizza ala mexico.

And likely a lifle long ban for me to enter either country.

I would argue a huarache is closer.

Taco pizza is a popular menu item at our regional pizza chain.

Pizza is just dough with toppings, kebab is dough with stuffing, taco is hard corn dough with filling.

In the end they are all the same with different style. Now if you excuse me I am about to put reindeer wirh lingonberry in all of them.

What the heck kind of crazy kebabs are you eating?!? It’s meat on a stick, sometimes with veggies! Where do you get this “dough with stuffing” description from?!?

You’re thinking “shish kebab”. Kebab is a middle eastern item with the meat (typically lamb, but others work) sliced off a rotisserie like machine, and usually tucked into or served open-faced
on naan, or pita bread.

Shish kebabs could, possibly be said to be just forgoing the bread to eat the meat straight off the shish (lit ‘skewer’ or ‘sword’).

Traditional tacos are absolutely NOT a hardshell. xD that’s a total americanism. Authentic ‘Tacos’ are open-faced on a SOFT corn or flour tortilla, loaded with toppings, that you hold/fold with your hands to eat. TB’s ‘soft taco’s are closer than hard shells, though still not.
