Doesn’t really change much I think?
The point of Lucas bluffing was to extract information out of him, not to make him believe that Ethan was actually dead forever.
But now Ethan is a valid target again, instead of the Troll having to start from scratch on someone else. He might have been cooling his heels in prison due to not having a target instead of not actually being able to escape somehow
Getting rid of the Troll would probably be a public service in many people’s eyes, plus I suspect it might actually be cathartic for Elijah to off the Troll, especially if/when Troll pushes his buttons.
Nah this is more “Should Ra’s Al Ghul kill the Joker” (or insert other vaguely sympathetic villain)
(Though you might have read ‘Ethan’ instead of ‘Elijah’ there, which would be what you said)
I mean we’ve seenni. The real world how easy it is for people with strong, albeit misplaced, convictions about right and wrong get turned into monsters by trolls

I’m surprised not to see any signs of leg/hip joint medical intervention.
Man I thought a while back he’d join up with them at least temporarily. Seems like the opposite is happening

Whelp, that’s about to backfire.
On the plus side, though, it likely means Analog and D-Pad will be needed more than before. Analog’s already getting back in the swing of things and even helped bag a criminal, so we’ll likely keep inching closer to finally confirming the probable conclusion that he still has his respawn power.
Not quite sure what the Troll’s angle would be with Elijah. Unless it’s just someone to send after A+D, but it’s unclear why Elijah would bother listening to him. Well, other than being restrained and being unable to not listen to him.
Villain name ideas: The Hopper, Lame Duck, Crutches, Halfcan, Mono.

While I’m truly horrified, this interaction is very interesting: Elijah is an activist with good intentions, while the Troll is a maniac that killed before. Will the Troll drag Elijah with him into bitterness and evil? Will Elijah reluctantly align with him, while been disgusted by his nonetheless? Or maybe The Troll will help Elijah understand that he gone bit far?
Ohhh shoot.
And thus we are seeing the founding of the Masters of Evil / Legion of Doom for this setting.
“Madness is like gravity – all it takes is a little push!” (c)
Madness is like gravy – Delicious, but best served hot.
Madness is like groceries – mysterious, seductive, typically uncooperative. and recommended by nine out of ten dentists.
– Chef Brian, probably
Madness is like a Box of Chocolates.
You never know your you’re gonna’ get.
The Sinister Six/Legion of Doom/Evil League of Evil is slowly coming together.
The Every Villain Is Lemons?
“League Of Villainous Evildoers Maniacally United For Frightening Investments in Naughtiness”?
Bad horse, bad horse
The world is a mess and I just need to….rule it.
Cadkham!
Cadman and Drobin?
Dun Dun DUNNN…
ah god dammit, villain team up coming soon
Or at least confirmation for the Troll that Ethan is still alive and Lucas was bluffing

Oh no
Evil league of evil!
A murder would be nice of course!
Bad horse!
Hey at least he got some health care for his hip/leg.
For Elijah’s sake I hope he’s not easily swayed by a troll who knows where to press for a big reaction.

Sounds a lot like the “Should Batman kill the Joker” argument.

There is, he’s got a brace across his hip and thigh.
Oh damn, I thought the brace was part of the prisoner equipment.
I was looking at the wrong leg, ha ha. Oops.

To be fair, I’m pretty sure the result would be the same regardless of what super caught him.
Not necessarily. Because now Elijah specifically has reason to have a grudge on Analog/D-Pad. The troll can use the “enemy of thy enemy” angle on him.
If another super caught Elijah, he would likely land in the same prison but wouldn’t necessarily have strong feelings on Analog/D-Pad.
I feel like they should put ultra derange types like him at the very end of the hall.
Or under the prison.

Problems begin if Elijah tells the Troll what their secret identities are.
I don’t think he knows
