Honestly, if the stories develops and at the end he accidently trips over something stupid and falls unto something sharp, accidentally killing himself, respawns and proves his ability still works… it would be such a good “Ethan”-thing to happen 😀 😀
I feel like it’ll be a bigger moment where he gives his life to save someone. However, I absolutely agree that the most Ethan thing to do is exactly what you said.

Yes because they taught us relligion at young age which messed us up. Before that we never cared what happens after death. Whatever happens, happens. They they put all those heaven/hell/reincarnation stuff in our heads so that we obey the system. Even though now most people don’t believe this stuff, there’s still some fear at the back of your head “what if?”.
That’s why we just wait. Becase it’s legal to just wait for death to happen.

This could weirdly be a good thing for him given the situation at the moment. He got himself with a knife, there’s plenty of blood and he still didn’t die. With this as perspective, maybe other day to day things won’t seem so dangerous and deadly to him.

I love Lucas’ Reaction here. I could never stay so calm when someone is hurt – and damn, his utter calm is exactly what Ethan needs.
Kind of the way you need to behave around animals or kids – if they are a bit afraid, you want to be slow, quiet, and not further amp up the situation. It’s tough if your kid has been in an accident or the like, but an unsettled adult present won’t be helping. Lucas always struck me as the most likely to be a good dad (in the future). I’m not sure Ethan is world-wise enough to manage it safely (the right partner might help) and Scott is just too hurt from his own traumas to not pass them on… Read more »

I know this is intended to be over the top, but as someone who sliced my hand just like that last summer, that’s not just a Bandaid cut. That’s a butterfly stitches and a tetanus shot cut. *shudders*
You only need a tetanus shot if the blade was really dirty. Tetanus doesn’t come from rust… it mostly comes from stuff like manure. Plain old dirt has a small chance of harboring it, too, which is why doctors often give the shot over an abundance of caution.
I’ve also had knife cuts that I’m fairly certain a doctor would have stitched… but I just covered with neosporin and bandaids (and occasionally a peroxide or epsom salt soak) until they got better.

I don’t think one bandage would be enough to treat something like that. You’d need to wrap that around a few times with gauze underneath.
You can’t really tell how bad it is until you wash the blood off. Hand injuries tend to gush even from rather small cuts.

Lol, this reminds me of my son’s when they were 6 and 8, my 8 y/o burst into the house and announced, in a panic, that his brother was “dead.” So we rushed out to find him sitting up crying, bleeding from a small cut on his head. They were sledding in the snow and he had ran into a tree. We took him to the hospital, he got a butterfly bandage and sent home. The eldest always was a “drama-queen.”
Age 6 I think, I was playing Cops & Robbers with the next door neighbor’s twin boys in their backyard and before I could get even consent to playing, they had me in imaginary cuffs and shoved me forward. I fell and split my chin open, the blood got down to my belly-button before I was treated; I distinctly recall they moved out within a week.
