I loved that Ethan basically crammed a week’s worth of our comments into a handful of breaths, and in what a perfectly realistic way, given the circumstances.
And this was probably written a long time ago, too, if I understand correctly.

Yeah. Even as absent-minded as Ethan acts often enough, he’s got the whole “secret identity” thing internalised. Enough so, that his brain immediately starts wondering just how much The Troll knows about them.
And it seems like he figured out some pretty significant patterns, at the very least.
Unless Ethan and Lucas were smart enough to avoid focusing on emergencies and crimes close to their home and workplace. That’s what I’d do, at least. Work all over the city, spreading as evenly as possible.

Correct me if I’m wrong. But didn’t the conversation between Ethan and Lilah at the hospital, happen right in front of The Troll’s comatose body? If he could actually LISTEN to that… I don’t think anything useful for him was told, but it MIGHT make The Troll want to aim for her if he suspects Ethan cares more than usual. It’d also mean The Troll could hear Ethan sincerely explain he didn’t meant to drop him. Along with his doubts and concerns. So, The Troll has prime manipulation material right there. BUT when they have their next confrontation, Ethan can… Read more »
Its a Troll, he will use that feeling to agitate Ethan.
Thats how Trolls get their satisfaction.
Normally you would deal with attentionseekers by ignoring them. But now its arson and god knows what comes next.
Better get the game store properly insured.
I know. that’s why I mention manipulation first, as a given. Then I mention the possibility of Ethan’s honesty working in his favor, as a “maybe.” Troll-themed or not, that guy is a psychopath. A broken mind. So, if you hit them at the right angle, you can manipulate them in turn. Of course, sometimes the only “right angle” they leave you to hit them with, is right up the head. With a lethal blow. One way or another, this is gonna keep escalating for a while at the very least. But I hope that, if The Troll gets caught… Read more »

Imma be honest, I thought the Troll’s “Lololololol” laugh was pretty forced. You could’ve easily had him do the standard “Hahahahahahahohohoheeheehehehe,” though that might make him come across as too much of a Joker rip-off. I get that he’s based off of internet trolls who stir up trouble to give their empty lives wasted behind computers a false sense of meaning, but that laugh was even more forced than the ridiculous laughs the villains have in One Piece.
I actually had a classmate in high-school that said lol instead of laughing. Just “loool” for a joke and a Loo-hoohoo-hoo-oool if something was really funny.
The fact that its obnoxious, cringey behavior that would irritate someone enough to make this comment on the internet, is exactly why the Troll would choose to laugh like that.
See, it doesn’t come across as forced to me at all, but then I grew up in that awkward period where those of us who grew up on 13375p34|< were starting to use voice chat, and people would actually say things like “lol” and “rofl” and “lmao” out loud as though they were actual words. “Lull”, “roffle”, “l-mou”, last one pronounced like the mou in mouth. Weird times, but then, yeet and rizz are a thing now so it be like that sometimes.
I still remember the original term (and port): 31337.
I was too old to adopt all that as part of my actual vocabulary. But I get you.

Having followed Ethan and co. from the very beginning, if there is ANYTHING I so incredibly love above our new Ethan is that he is actually in many ways relatable to regular people.

Makes you believe that killing the bad guy is always the best option, right?
Depends on the bad guy. The Trickster from Justice League Unlimited absolutely not. The Troll from this comic absolutely.

Is this the moment our hero snaps? Does Ethan finally decide to turn to the best weapon against Trolls, fire? Will they ever get to play Diablo IV?
I really hope ethan is smart enough to think that killing people is not ok.

Just need to make certain to drop him from a higher building next time. Or there’s a certain bloodstained vigilante who would be more than happy to take The Troll off of Ethan’s hands. And yes I have zero empathy or compassion for internet trolls and consider them among the scum of the Earth.
“I think killing people is ok”. Are you, by any chance, american?
Every civilized country abolished death penalty long ago. This is a comic, so crazy things are ok, but your comment sounds like you REALLY think that. Wich is scary af.
So you’re not American then… So you listen to the common idea what Americans are like with NO REAL knowledge.I am SO sick of the racist opinions of people, no understanding or desire to have it. “Oh your white of course you’re a racist!” which is the crap I hear all the time. “Oh you’re American? Of course you like to kill people!”
Same damn thing! If you don’t like being labeled, DON’T DO IT YOURSELF!!!
Pretty sure that 99.99999% of internet trolls don’t do that. The 0.00001% that do are usually called “terrorists”, “murderers” or “batshit insane” instead.
I know that. I think The Troll, as in the villain in this comic who strapped bombs to people to murder them ‘for lulz’, should be killed not internet trolls in general. I just think internet trolls are the scum of the Earth.
Maybe the facial damage crushed some of the cranial nerves and now…he can’t smile! So he always looks sad or angry, which frustrate him more and more as he can’t express superficial satisfaction

Yep. This are the exact same topics from the discussion on the previous page. Well done Tim.

I’m the first to criticise some US-folk. I have no lost love for the bs, megalomania and worse some of them uphold like virtues.
But I try to avoid stereotyping, prejudice, and high-horse strawmen.
Because they’re irrational and thus objectively wrong. Lies. Bs.
And it sounds like you fell into at least two of those. Sorry.
Last I checked, that crap that happens in the US happens in most of the other countries as well. Like, large amounts of people thinking killing is OK.
It’s not a US thing. It’s a humanity thing.
While I agree that trolls are terrible people, let have a little perspective here, humm?
You forgot in fell in a tank truck full of “chemicals”. I doubt the height of the fall is the reason he survived
