What the hell would Ethan’s parents have to be disappointed over? If they’re upset he got Rory’s business shut down, then that’s just ignoring criminal activity. If it’s because the mob and police showed up, that’s still Rory’s fault so they shouldn’t be pissed at Ethan
I take it you’re not familiar with the Golden Child/ Scapegoat sibling dynamic. Some parents are shitty and hand wave away all wrong doings of the Golden Child and blame the Scapegoat if they are involved in someway, or sometimes even if they’re not at all.
I’m afraid I’m not, my parents really go out of their way to avoid playing favorites, and as a result, it just baffles my mind why parents would ignore the wrongdoing of a child only to punish another child for doing less wrong than the other
Then you have good parents. I was lucky in that regards too. But yes sometimes parents are great at putting the first born on a pedestal while the subsequent child is practically known as “our little not-so-abortion” these kind of parents should have their legs broken and be thrown out of a speeding vehicle in that order.
