Ben has been proven to be a bit of a jokester on previous pages, so I would not put it past him that this is his way of showing he’s fine with Lucas being a super, before the obligatory heart to heart that comes afterward.
That’s what I’m thinking too. I think that’s why so many people in this particular comments section (myself included!) aren’t 100% sure whether this is how Lucas sees it or if it’s actually what’s happening.

I’m about 90% sure Ben knows and is just joking around because he knows Lucas is probably freaking out and he’s trying to break the ice, with a 9% possibility that Lucas is just hallucinating Ben saying these things when he’s actually not, and a 1% possibility that Ben is actually THE Troll. Like, not one of the impersonators, not one of the many faces thereof, but the master of the hive mind.
