Okay, let’s go into it. There are categories for what kind of protection personal armor has and obviously a bullet of higher caliber with more kinetic energy will be harder to stop and there’s always a higher caliber – it’s unrealistic to literally have tank armor because that would be too heavy to wear constantly and very limiting for the agility of movements. But it’s not just about literally not letting the bullet through you. Most common ways a vest can fail save your life even when the bullet didn’t get through are: (1) caving in and crushing your ribcage;… Read more »
seriously the groin area! the suit had better be tight fitting like a dry wet suit (that will help minimise blood loss for cuts to dangerous areas, but what about some bullet resistance to thighs and shoulders…. it wouldnt hinder mobility THAT much to throw some padding up in there. and he wouldnt look so…. lanky….

I mean… Technically, the 46cm projectiles fired by the main guns on the battleship Yamato were bullets…
Or Ethan just smirks and says, “hold my Red Bull.”

I like the new outfit.
And for the record I am donut receptive; I cannot even pretend to be resistant.

The pad style of the chest armour is a smart design

If Ethan`s powers were his ability to respawn, and his reckless disregard for person injury that arises from that ability, and those are no longer available,. How is body armour doing to replace that? He still has to be thinking about his personal/physical safety which would negate any other “super” ness. Unless Scott has cleverly hidden an antigrav unit and full body airbags in there somewhere
But now that he learned how to NOT injure himself at any given time, he might be an even better hero once he gets his powers back / realizes he still has them. Then again, capes are cool if you don’t need to worry about cape-inflicted injury or death…
Is it just me, or is that head gear giving me Captain America vibes? 😅
Granted, he could become Captain Winter-een-mas!
Add ears and it would totally be an early batman outfit
No capes!
Captain Batman!
Why not the Winter-een-mas Soldier?
…Good point! 😁

nice 46cm *howcute*

Is Heavy Gustav also fired with bullets 😀
Things that make the Storyteller weep. I salute you.
Shells actually, they were filled with explosives.
I feel like there is some personal experiences laced in this one from a recent panic-shopping spree….
I drew this comic in August…
Nice try to make it political. Too bad it failed in epic fashion. Good luck with the guttersnipe thing though. It suits you.
like… you don’t have to like the comment but… don’t troll on here dude. There is no place for that here.
Let’s just start with the small fry first. People less likely to have big guns. And leave your exploding/incendiary ordnance at home.
Let’s just start with the crowded public gym first. If He survives 3 hours…
A fool-resistant plan.
Every time someone develops a fool-resistant plan, someone else develops a better fool.

He basically isn’t super anymore. He’s just a shlub trying to help.
But now that he learned how to NOT injure himself at any given time, he might be an even better hero once he gets his powers back / realizes he still has them. Then again, capes are cool if you don’t need to worry about cape-inflicted injury or death…
Oh he totally is. There’s no way that drug worked.
I am also dougnut resistant…. if that is a double up comment, i apologise to the mode4ator that has the job because “humans suck”
The sleekness of the controller design really works. Points for resisting the urge to add “thumbstick nipples” XD
I do hope this isn’t a final costume look, it feels like it’s missing some of the identity of the old one. As an armour test it’s neat though.
I’m glad there’s just the one analog stick in the middle instead of… Nipplesticks…
Tim: *hastily redraws final costume design”
(Whether to add or remove the nipplesticks is an open question)
OK, now I think about donuts…
That new silhouette does make the Troll’s “noodle arms” comment hit a little harder… especially seeing how fit Lucas is on the next page.
