Ethan, I once stuck my tongue to an ice cube and ripped the first couple layers off, enough to gain some scar tissue which possibly explains why I didn’t feel it when I got my tongue pierced, and then it healed over about three more times and then all three of those times I ended up re-piercing my tongue with a toothpick. Moral of the story is, despite the painless outcome, don’t stick your tongue to frozen metal….or ice cubes.
