agreed.
after – literally – decades of fandom, I am now isolated by them because I do not have a PSN (i’ve got a full time job, and a business to run, I simply don’t play online enough to justify it).
Heaven forbid a developer ever making something different than what they’ve always made.
You’ll be right back in the saddle after ES6 and FO5 come out.

fallout 76 not as bad as onlne hate makes out. sure it not perfect and needs some polish but so did WoW at start. it is not a rust clone as the pvp MMO world wanted but its got a good community, lots of quests, heaps of AI both enemy and friendly robots and the holotapes help drill a sense of hopelessness after an apocalypse.
with NPC towns due very soon it will be flushed out fully.
I see it atm as fallout 4 co op edition. not the best fallout but enough to still play.
i think it’s visually the most amazing game in the FO franchise, aside from the occasional textual/lighting glitches. The hate surrounding this game is unreal. To me it plays like any other FO game, but with the added risk/advantage of other players. I agree that they nailed the dystopian feel that would be accompanied with an infant wasteland. To me the game shows real promise for the direction they might take the fallout franchise, not necessarily on the multiplayer aspect, but with the all around aesthetic of the game. It’s nice to see additional features (mutating players), and updated graphics… Read more »
Dude, it’s great that you see a lot of potential with the game, and the places it could go and the things they could add.
But when they’re asking people to pay full price for the games, those people are allowed to judge the game based on its merits NOW. The state in which it currently exists, not the one it may achieve down the road with more updates.
And they game they released NOW has issues. Nobody is saying don’t enjoy it in spite of those issues if you can, but there are legitimate gripes with the game.
ooh indeed there is 100% issues. however the online community complaining are bitching for sake of bitching more than anything it seems.
like for instance 1 group I am in complains that game has too many fetch quests to feel like fallout…you know the franchise about find my son, my dad, my people… fetch quests are fallout lol.
meanwhile ativision blizzard and EA/Biowares failures in last 2 years straight are being ignored.
beth is not perfect I admit but they far from worst. and their bugs beat ubisofts.
I heard that! I am one of those who paid full price for a chance at the BETA, but ended up at work for almost every window =(. I have sunk a lot of hours in it, and I have had fun, but I am disappointed that they didn’t release something with way more polish.
Now hold on, two uploaded in one week? BLASPHEMY. (no i’m not serious in any way.)
Seriously though, love your work, but silly and otherwise.

Good thing Red Dead offers sooooo much gameplay.
