One’s test to measure Invulnerability is best performed on the pinky finger of the left hand (right-hand pinky if one is left-handed). If pain & bleeding are a result of the test, one can still have it stitched/bandaged/cauterized if necessary. It’s been clinically shown that one can still function normally for nearly every task even when missing the pinky finger, as one tends to semi-consciously ignore it anyway.
It also means that one doesn’t have to start over before leaving the initial spawning point.
