Honestly I just brought it up because “Radical [protest group]” gets on my nerves a lot. If someone said “Radical Work Union Organizers” or “Radical Hipsters” it sounds like you are expecting a large amount of the group to be violent or prone to violence. I mean, there are some people who identify as part of [Group name here] that ARE violent, but it feels wrong to point to the exception and claim it is the norm.

lol I live just close enough to portland to know exactly how close to home that shot lands yet far enough to enjoy the fireworks from a safe distance. Berkeley would be another choice location. Could run around fighting the black masked LARPers at either location though.
Alternitate ideas Farcry: DC. Potential factions are corrupt politicians, Special interest Lobbyists, and whatever activist group was haveing a march at the time of publication. Pick a side and fight to destroy all the others before being backstabed by the one you picked and haveing to wipe them out as well.

The state of affairs politically and economically in some central and south American countries is rough, so by making a new generic one off the coast of Venezuela or something they could have plenty to work with. As long as they actually make a good analogy, because just a stereotypical rendition would be horrid. There’s a lot of rich culture and they can do a lot with it.
