let me guess, astronomical bounty on Cort’s head?
or the galactic news telling everyone he’s a terrorist researched in every inhabited systems?
OR the war officially started lol
He’ll be wanted for WIELDING A SUPER-WEAPON. If anything, Speck is about to see war news and THEN a wanted poster. Then again, Happy below makes a good point about keeping things classified.

Do the blue and pink neon signs actually say “TAP DAT” or is that just my imagination?

Ten bucks they are on the wanted list. That or the War stuff. Not sure what the Feds would rather want first place in the news.
Ill further that bet.
I’m guessing that the Feds need to keep Cort “In house” and dont need any numpty bounty hunter potentially getting the Star Caster.
Is that Thor in the left corner of the first panel? Has Tim sold the Starcaster story to Disney, and this is the first easteregg of a merge to the MCU? I would line up in queue for that movie premiere.
Nyrah is a Mary-Sue, Cort’s flaws are exaggerated, the Feds are Space-Nazis, and every alien is transgender until proven otherwise. That’s the Disney we have today, and I want nothing to do with it.
I could fit every western I’ve ever liked on an extended pinky (with the knuckle poking through) in blu-ray format, but I’ll need a warehouse to fit all the glorious space opera novels that will tragically never see the light of film; and in the corner of this imaginary warehouse, there’s a shelf with an armload of 8-disk blu-ray cases and they contain everything from Star Trek to the MCU. But none of these, no matter the format or genre, are founded on the disease-minded premise that progress requires we take establish and beloved male characters and ret-con them as… Read more »
Yes… Mary Sue.. Hey remember how she wasnt captured and striped down to organs in a jar, in a Wonkey body thats not constantly falling apart? Remember how she hasnt been tricked and deceived by anyone with a pulse? Remember how she attacked the Grin, kicked his arse and didn’t wind up nearly losing a leg? Remember how everyone immediately liked her because in no way is her personality grating? How her plan to give the Star Caster to Cort worked perfectly and now everything is awesome? I am now editing this cause I suddenly realised you may post may… Read more »
I would kill to see Starcaster Chronicles, or any Ctrl+Alt+Del for that matter, animated. It wouldn’t be Disney though. The original work might not match their vision so the end result could be unrecognisable. But a samller company that worked closely with the artist? That would work. Definitely worth looking into.
Hmm. Since the display the crowd is looking at is showing a full size picture of what appears to be a human, I’m going with a wanted poster. Not necessarily one put out by the Federation though.

I feel it ought to be news about the war. For me the deciding scene is in the second to last picture. The distraught facial expression of the person on the right. That’s not the reaction I expect if a bounty is announced. But much more one from seeing destroyed cities after the bombardment that happened.

It’s the war, it has to be. A wanted person would not gather a crowd like that.
Depends on how high the reward is.

I’ll take 20 on the war

Why can’t it be both?

Its either Thor or the city guards have a very traditional look for their uniform

Since social progress scares you so much, you should probably stick with westerns, and avoid future stuff.

I was describing s hypothetical, not the comic as-is.
He was describing how he thought Tim’s IP would end up after the Disney treatment.

Rooster Teeth?
Ah Yes, Bounties are up

It looks more to me like they are reading something under the picture of what appears to be Cort. Quite possibly the amount of a bounty on his head.
