Given that the backup muscle seems to be short term hire, or they’d already know about a mimion partner, only 1 of the 3 needs to be forcibly silenced to keep things quiet.

Kill them all.
Speck has shown he is more than happy to use his ‘unique’ ability when need arises.
He is also pragmatic enough to know that just scaring, will likely just have them running off and blabbing, dead men tell no tales.

Dead men tell no tales, but their bodies do.

Getting to that point is plenty noisy though, he’d have to scram pronto.

Has he? I thought that at one point he made it quite clear that he HATES having to do that, but understands the necessity of it from time to time and accepts that….

Pass, im just thinking of the smile on his face when he was threatening the air control guy on the space station, the melting the chair threat right at the start, declaring “im gonna hug her” when she found out the truth…

But seriously im more than happy to be proved wrong if you have a link.

I stand by the pragmatic part tho 🙂

  • Use the threat of violence to get them to back down

That one guy is already scared 😀

Yeah, seems the most effective. When someone literally says “actually I’m kinda not with this guy now” it’s just the most effective way to not have any collateral damage on the ship.
No doubt Speck can dissolve them, but there are more risks involved there imo. Like those loaders nearby seeing it.

Most definitely — Ensure their silence
With villainous scum, one cannot rely upon “threat” to last longer than being in their presence; the only sure way to guarantee their “cooperation” is if they’re no longer in a position to be a problem.

On the one hand killing them reduces his time to complete repairs leaving the ship vulnerable due to a hasty retreat and potentially alerts their location. On the other hand, threats mean the scrappers could return later in force or sell his location also alerting fleet forces

I remember there being 3 choices in the vote, with the third being “Pay them off”.

My comment at the time was (paraphrased): “Threaten them and they’ll tip off the Syndicate. Death by Mimion will alert the Feds. Paying them off might be the better option.”

It’s a great option…assuming you actually have money and aren’t already in desperate need of more.

Maybe a gun turrent would have been a good addition to his floating platform after all. Or maybe that tool he was using can be adjusted for a longer range application?

I’m betting threatening them got the vote. It’s the cowards choice after all, nondestructive.

Once again, Full House has all the answers to life’s mysteries and challenges.

Whatever issue arises, it can usually be solved by sitting down, talking through your problems, and ending with a hug.

Threaten them. Killing them now could spell trouble later.

I mean they could also just go snitch to the syndicate or someone else after being threatened because they didn’t get anything.

Speck is in the middle of a ship repair. An arc welder should do wonders for the scrap merchant’s disposition.

I love me some Speck, so whatever keeps him alive. I do believe he would go with action rather than threat, however.

Think we should silence for good. Once Speck is leaves, they can safety report and reap the benefits from the federation. These hounds are always looking for their next meal so don’t expect the promise to stay silence to, well, stay.

I’m also going with Ensure their silence for good; attack the scrappers.

Anything else just ends in them blabbing to the federation

I feel negotiating would probably be the safest option tbh. Attacking and killing them means he would possibly have to escape before the ship is repaired. Why would he blab if he got whatever price he wanted?
