Poor Ethan. I’m pretty sure “Calm Down” quit the league.

So I sort of get it, but at the same time you have to wonder why someone who chooses to be a super hero doesn’t just have a way to be contacted in emergencies. Isn’t that, like, sort of their shtick?
I think before the thing with Ethan he did, but currently, with whats going on and Ethan being possibly super-powerless, Lucas is consdiering himself off-duty fully too.
He’s one minor super hero in a city of bigger supers. Lucas spends his evenings catching burglars and muggers, not saving the city from utter destruction. When Commissioner Gordon needs help, he doesn’t go to a rooftop and light the D-Signal; he just calls Captain Prime on her cell phone and offers to watch the kids while she handles it.
And yet he’s been woken up by throwing stars and a katana now at least once. Also unable to contact a person aggressively not paying attention to what’s going on outside his window. On the same night.

Don’t worry, I’m quite sure that ZK is not far away from where Lucas is…

I like the unemotional face of Scott. Perhaps he already knows that he’s going to be a Lucas replacement for tonight’s business
Alright, if Scott busts out a “little something he’s been working on” – that being, a full power suit that takes inspiration somewhere between Iron Man and Mega Man – this just got kicked up to 11.
I’d say we’re probably already past that. The head bomb arc, and more crucially the big talk with Ethan afterwards felt like much bigger tipping points for Scott.
If this is going to be a ‘turns (irredeemably) evil or not’ arc for someone, it’d be for Zeke.

For people who have been attacked at home one time it still feels sloppy. A pager or something else small for superhero emergencies seem pragmatic.
Then again, people are people. They want something normal, and might want to do things irrational or ‘more dangerous’, just to feel ok.

That is the face of a man who has accepted his fate.

So is this now the “Scott’s going to turn evil – yes or no” story arc? Tipping point sounds like it…
