I presume Ethan just doesn’t want his theme to be taken over by someone with more useful powers (I mean, don’t get me wrong not dying is *super* useful, but it’s not much good against people who aren’t crazy psychopaths trying to kill you)
Right? When it came to chasing someone who is just running away a cross country runner would be much more useful.
Ethan is good cause he can do risky/suicide missions/stunts, but in pure fire power and utility he gets stomped by Lucas.
Also, Gameboy seems to have stopping abilities. Interesting…

Because of course there would be other video game supers in a city like Omnitropolis. The only real surprise is that a kid that young is going old school.

I don’t think that that the various plotlines are supposed to happen within the same universe, ruling out any encounter between the Ethan-plane-characters and Player#-characters.
But then, I may be mistaken because they actually encountered during the end of the first Ethan-continuity in the future that was ruled be Zeke-oids, so what do I know.
However, if it really were possible, then I wonder whether Player#4 wouldn’t be a better match for Ethan than Emily. :p
This kid is going to be super disappointed when he learns that Nintendo’s super power is dragging him to court for trademark infringement. ?
