Rh incompatibility doesn’t happen with a first pregnancy. It can only happen if an Rh-negative mother has an Rh-positive child, after which time her immune system starts to consider Rh-positive fetuses a threat. Any Rh-positive fetus she carries AFTER that would be at risk.
It happened with my son. My liver started pushing poison through my pores so I had painful rashes everywhere, I pissed blood and had to give birth early.
You are correct, except the first pregnancy doesn’t have to go full term. It is possible that the first pregnancy was an early ‘miscarriage’ for another reason, perhaps she just thought it was a heavy discharge. Always a possibility for RH- women that an OB-Gyn will be watching for, IF the woman has healthcare coverage. Now can society come up with a better term than ‘miscarriage’?
Considering Tim based this arc on his and his partner’s own real-life experiences, I’m going to say that you aren’t in a place to say what does and doesn’t happen.

I honestly don’t see why so many people had an issue with this arc; sure it’s a sad plot in an otherwise fun, humorous comic, but plenty of sitcoms through the years have had “very special episodes” that dealt with serious subject matter.
Same thing as ur other comment mentioned too many people have been participation trophy winners, honestly it’s okay between kindergarten to 1st-2nd grad but once u have everyone getting medals in middle school u tend to fuck up a generation of people by makeing them think the world is all flowers and rainbows

No. “Society” doesn’t need to change every time some snowflake decides they can’t handle a term, word or whatever. Get over yourself.
