In the first season (I never saw others), I remember quibbling about the time of sunset, which was shown at 7:00 exactly. This can happen in June or July on standard time, but those months are never on standard time; or near the equinox on Daylight Shifting Time, but iirc in that year DST started after the March equinox – and the day was said to be primary election day, which was always well before the September equinox.
