I disagree with this to some degree. Any good game should be able to be replayed whenever someone wants to. I have picked up games years old and enjoyed hours and hours of replaying them happily. And newer generations deserve the chance to play these wonderful games.
To this day, I still play long hours of Civilization Revolution frequently… and if I still had my Saturn, you can bet I’d be enjoying many of those games much more often than I care to admit!
