We have some Winter-een-mas shirts and (finally) zip-up hoodies available for order in our store for a limited time. After January 31st, they’re gone. We also have limited Winter-een-mas 2019 pins and pop-grips as well.

As someone who has well over 150 Steam games, most purchased during sales, I can say with confidence those sales are a wrecking ball to a wallet and budget. Hell, I don’t think I’ve played two THIRDS of them.
To think, I’d probably OWN a new, good gaming PC with that money, but nooooo. “Hey, that game’s on sale! and that one! Holy shit, that one too?! GIMME GIMME GIMEEEEE!!”
Yep. Same here friend.
150!? Between Humble Bundles, various freebies over the years that happened to have steam codes, and buying bundles of older games during sales I’ve got over 600. Many I’ve never played since I’d buy Humble Bundles/Steam bundles if a single game was interesting and was well below retail, so I’d get like 9 more that I didn’t even really care about.
This is all ignoring my GoG account and Humble games that DIDN’T come with Steam codes. And I think I’ve only bought like 2 games in the past year or so.
150? what a casual plebian you are
im at 2,500… send help

He actually looks very attractive with glasses!
“Years of astounding irresponsibility with Steam sales…”
Preach it, Ethan. We’ve all been there.
See, I’d personally think that he should train up on his weaknesses. I mean, a JRPG could be the game, just as much as any other one. But hey, that’s just me.
Besides… Steam doesn’t seem to me to be equally weighted across all genres, being PC based, and Ethan doesn’t buy the genres he hates.
What I guess I’m saying is, if Ethan wants to be the very best, like no one ever was, he’s gotta go outside his comfort zone. 😉
It might be a JRPG, but Wintereenmas only lasts for a week! Hardly enough time to get through most prologues and opening credits 😀
Perhaps just a single boss fight with pre-set stats and weaponry could be the challenge for a JRPG?
Probably yeah. That or a speedrun. In the “Winter-een-mass lasts for a month but everything else is basically the same” timeline, the scheduled JRPG section last year was a 4 White Mage Challenge for the original NES Final Fantasy. It’s considered a test of endurance, with players required to complete it in 3 sittings and with the Peninsula of Power disabled. It’s a 10 point maximum, so partial credit may be given for remaining conscious through the entire event. The early FFs could be brutal if you didn’t know what you were doing (though this was partially because of bugs),… Read more »
oh oh ouch.
Now we just need a comic where Scott is searching for his glasses.
Actually it is impressive that Ethan is seeing something. If the glasses are made for someone nearsighted or farsighted shouldn’t see anything, if he doesn’t need glasses or contact lenses with a nearly similar strength.
And why Am I thinking that Emily will be chosen? Mostly because we had a similar story with Lilah in the old universe.
August 30, 2006 and following https://cad-comic.com/comic/electric-boogaloo/
I’m suspecting Emily, Lucas, or both. Especially since they even mentioned in an earlier comic that Lucas has the same chance at getting chosen.
I’m also suspecting that this incarnation of Ethan would be much (… somewhat) more accepting (or less zany) if it happened.
It’s frightening when the craziest plan accompanied by the least logical course of action also makes the most sense
Going to be something obscure like Fantasy World Dizzy.
It’s comforting to know that no place in the multiverse is safe from the financial onslaught this is Steam sales!
Go on, Ethan, practice Superman 64…and ET…
And the original Friday the 13th… and every jrpg…

What did Ethan think he was going to get when his notes are blank?
Astounding irresponsibility with Steam sales.
Did I hear my name?
