I effectively retired from doing conventions some years back, but ConnectiCon in Hartford, Connecticut was the first one I ever attended as an artist, way back in 2003, and it has always held a special place in my heart.
Ctrl+Alt+Del is now in its twentieth year, so I am thrilled to return to celebrate the twentieth ConnectiCon. I’ll have a table with some STUFF, and will also be doing some panels.

Out of curiosity, why did you quit conventions?
(Never been to one myself.)
They just take a lot of planning and logistics. Travel, shipping booth materials and merchandise to and from the venue, etc. And then for the convention itself, you’re usually getting into the area Thursday night, and you’re not heading home until Monday, so now you’re talking about a 5-day stretch away from home and work that has to be done ahead to account for being away for that amount of time etc. It all just got a lot less appealing once I had kids, so it wasn’t any sort of big decision to quit, I just sort of… stopped doing… Read more »

That may be the first time I’ve ever heard those words in that order.
