I’ve got so many games in my Steam library that I have never played, as a result of these damned Steam sales. Where once I got excited at the prospect of dirt cheap games, I now see it for the curse it is. They are irresistable.
The rational argument of cost vs free time goes out the window when games reach that certain price where you say “eh, even if I never play it… it’s only ten bucks.” And then suddenly your games to free time ratio is all skewed to hell.
What’s worse is knowing this, and still buying games. Knowing that you won’t ever find the time to play these games, and yet still buying them just in case. Just in case, I don’t know, people every just suddenly stop making video games, and you want to have a healthy reserve supply for emergencies.
Anyway, there will be no comic on Wednesday on account of the holidays. I’ll be spending Christmas driving all over the place to visit my family. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your friends and family as well, and I’ll see you on Friday!
