I just received the first copies of the book. I should be getting the entire shipment on Tuesday-ish, but the printer was kind enough to overnight a couple of copies for me, so I was woken up this morning by a knocking at my door.

I am not ashamed to say that, when I first tore open that envelope and pulled out that first book, I got a little teary-eyed.

This book is a dream come true, the culmination of lots of hard work, and blood, sweat and tears, not just since I began CAD, but ever since I first sat down to draw. For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a comic artist, and now I’m sitting here with the first printed collection of my work. I don’t know if I can even explain the feeling… but thank you so much for making this possible for me.

By the way, the book is fucking gorgeous.
