Ok, I’m pretty close to getting caught up on store orders. I should be fully caught up by Monday. Once I’m back on top of current orders, I’m going to go about introducing some new shirt designs. Probably next week sometime.
I have some good news. I got my computer up and running. It turns out that nothing was faulty after all. There was just a switch that was not fully in the right position. So I’ve got my new PC functional, and pretty soon I can start getting it set up, transferring over all of my files, programs etc.
I’m going to be at Katsucon in a couple of weeks, February 13th-15th, in northern Virginia. It’s supposed to be a great convention, so if you’re in the area, stop by and say hi. I’ve got a panel that I’ll be doing (I don’t know the time yet), but other than that I’ll just be hanging out. My girlfriend is convention staff, so she’ll be busy with work, leaving me to roam the con and cause mischief.
Most likely I’ll be hanging around my friends from Connecticon and Dominic Deegan in the artist’s alley. I’ll give you more details as we get closer.
And for those of you that are wondering, yes, I just recently got on the 24 bandwagon. I’ve had the first season on DVD for a while now, and I just finished it the other day. I thought it was a pretty cool show. I’ve got the second season now, and will probably start watching it sometime next week, once I feel confident that I’m ahead with my work.
It took me this long to discover 24 because I never watch TV. I won’t watch a TV series no matter how good it is, for two reasons. First of all, I’m horrible at keeping a schedule, remembering what day and time the show is on, and making sure I don’t forget about it. And second, because I’m too impatient. I could never watch 24 while it’s airing, because I couldn’t deal with waiting a week inbetween episodes to find out what happens next. SoI’ll just be happy with my DVD releases of full seasons.
