So we’ve got the Wiinformation. November 19th at $250. A few bills less than any other next-gen console and I’ve still seen people complaining that it’s too expensive. Go figure.

I do like that they scrapped DVD playback on the system, to shave some dollars off the price tag. Smart thinking, there.

So end of November is looking to be pretty pricy, with the Wii and the PS3 piggybacking like that. I’m surprised that Nintendo didn’t try and push to come out second, and doesn’t seem worried about launching a couple of days behind the PS3.

Though I guess if you’ve been watching Sony’s business strategy, it gets pretty hard to take any potential threat seriously.

I think this is brilliant. Someone took clips from President Bush’s speeches, cut them together so that he sings U2’s “Sunday Bloody Sunday”. I loved it.
