I’ve had my eye on Dragon’s Dogma since I first heard it likened to Monster Hunter. Having followed the game so far, I don’t think that comparison really holds water, but it’s still shaping up to be a pretty nice looking game.

It’s got a little bit of a Demon’s/Dark Souls vibe to it, and who knows, perhaps there’s a little Monster Hunter flavor to it as well. It’s a Hideaki Itsuno game though, whose main staple has been the Devil May Cry series, so I’d expect Dragon’s Dogma to tend more towards a simple action title, than the sort of complexity and retreading of ground that Monster Hunter brings.
