Just got back from shipping a ton of books. I wasn’t kidding when I said I would get them out as fast as I can. I feel terrible that some of you are still waiting. Trust me when I say I’m working myself silly to ship them out. I will get you your books before the end of August, or kill myself trying.

I’ve been shipping my own merchandise for over a year now, and I’ve had some rushes, but nothing could have prepared me for this. Let’s just say I’ve learned my lesson, and for Volume 2, I will be hiring a part time staff for the initial orders.

After the books are shipped, and I take a short vacation, I will be re-structuring a bit, and then releasing some new shirts and posters for the back-to-school season. I’ll probably also bring back the option to order hoodies on a limited basis, since winter is just around the corner. All of this and more, in the near future (if I survive that long).

Conventions reports are almost done, I’m just holding off a couple of days to see if any new pictures come in. If you took pictures with me at ConnectiCon or Otakon, send em on in!

I played some Doom 3 yesterday, inbetween working and whatnot, and I can honestly say, that game is creepy. Not only is the atmosphere creepy, but they also have plenty of “ok, that corner is clear–OH MY GOD HOW DID THAT THING GET BEHIND ME?!” moments. And it runs very well. Even moreso (for me at least) with this tweak. The graphics are downright incredible. The lighting is amazing (and scary as shit).

The only downside is, I need to wait until after dark to play it. No big deal. World of Warcraft during the day, Doom 3 at night.
