Ok, I’m actually away right now. My girlfriend and I took a little trip up to Cape Cod to visit my parents and for some fun and relaxation. But this merits me finding a computer, getting online and making this newspost.
You guys did it.
In a little over a week, your combined efforts have raised enough money to save two people, people very dear to myself and many other webcomics, from financial and legal ruin.
You all united and chipped in money out of your own pocket, to save a couple of people most of you have never met.
I can’t express how truly impressed I am.
It’s no secret that I have a certain level of disdain for the humanity in general, a disdain born from many years working customer service. However, it’s moments like this that give me hope. Moments like this help remind me that there are still wonderful, goodhearted, selfless people out there.
Thank you. Thank you for your support, thank you for rallying behind myself and the other webcomics for this cause. You are all top notch people in my book.
We’ve stopped the fundraiser because we reached our goal, but the donator’s section will remain open. Even though we don’t need any more donations, I’m going to do something for you. I don’t know what, but I’ll make something spiffy and stick it in that section as a thank you.
You saved ConnectiCon.
