Not that it would help him anyway. Those guys do insane damage that link is not strong enough to tank even at full health in this comic.

It’s the same way in games like Ratchet and Clank. Not necessarily for health, but when switching weapons. Sure, you can turn that setting off so enemies can continue moving while you quickly switch weapons, but why would you?
Or Fallout 4. Sure, you can hotkey stimpacks and hit [hotkey], A a couple of times, and wait a few seconds to get your HP back, but why would you when you can open your Pip-Boy (pausing the game), hit the stimpack button a couple of times, then close the Pip-Boy, and be at full health?
