I would upvote M4lkav if I could. Is it just me or does anyone else find Emily more attractive than Lilah? Maybe it’s just this particular shot of Lilah that is unappealing. I just find Emily really cute in an adorkable kind of way. She also seems to be very straight forward which Ethan really needs.

Skin color is different, hair is different, there are literally no similarities between Emily and Captain Prime that I can tell.

As someone who’s been reading CAD almost since the beginning (took a long break after the reboot) I just can’t bring myself to care about Emily… Lilah will always be Ethan’s true love for me. 😉
Hopefully Lilah presence in the new series will increase from now on.

This whole timeline is a retcon. The previous timeline ended a long, long time ago. The slate was wiped clean and we’ve started over.
I don’t mind this timeline, personally. The characters feel a bit more real than they used to, and there’s actual interesting character development. It’s not just the crazy guy who does funny things, the level-headed room-mate who tries to keep Crazy Man under control, the Gamer Girlfriend who puts up with the crazy stuff, and the homicidal maniac. There’s actually a story.
If you want to explore different things i say make new charactors i dislike such massive changes with existing charactors, Or at least make the ahem situation absolutely clear from the get go of the new storyline this just kind of breaks it a bit for me. But thats just my opinion, ill just be checking for updates less thats all

Know this is a bit of an old observation, but I just want to say I like how new Lucas has a more defined physique. Original Lucas was big, but because he always wore the same shirt you couldn’t see his body, so I always assumed he was a little…chunky. Nothing wrong with that – I’m a bit chunky myself – but just nice to see look back and see how much things have evolved.
Also, I know it makes sense for him to be in better shape in the reboot, so no one has to point that out.

When you use that much product, it just naturally has a life of its own and forms back to its original shape. Sort of like the T-1000.
Can confirm. I has a quiff hairstyle and when I wake up a day after a shower, it stays in the shape I styled it in.
Am I the only one still hoping, that all of this is happening due to a major disturbance in space time, that was caused by the whole time-travelling incident, that led to the end of the original comic-storyline? Oh I really wish for Ethan and Lilah finding their way back together in this timeline. Reading the end of the old storyline still makes me shed tears. It was the perfect ending, but I still hope that it wasn’t the end…

I just read through everything up to this point in Analog and D-Pad after taking a long break reading anything here after the end of the original universe. I’m torn between wanting Ethan back with Lilah, and him moving on in a different direction this time. I think having echoes of 1.0 present without making a things line up the same is great.
