Absolutely love this game. Good guy devs that don’t hide cosmetics or progression behind pay walls, they gifted 10k gold (the in-game currency you earn from skirmishes/BR) as a sorry for their servers collapsing under their unexpected popularity and they’re keeping on top of hotfixes and patches like nobody’s business.
Ahh I could never get into Chivalry. The 360 beheading was, in my eyes, just a massive exploit that they never bothered to really fix. Fun in concept, not so much in practice.

I just wanna say, while your art has really improved, you could still stand to not let punchlines drag on. Your RDR2 DLC horse comic was spot-on with its pacing, but I feel like in this one, you could’ve just let Ethan get hit by the case and say “I think I still to need train more,” or something like that and ended it there.
That completely changes the tone of the punchline (and also doesn’t change the length of the strip at all). Your way makes the joke “Ethan has a dumb idea that fails”, when the joke I’m after is “Ethan has a dumb idea that fails but in HIS mind the idea has a thoroughly rational and logical foundation.” The punchline is not the video game to the face, but that Ethan is still so committed to his rational despite its obvious failure. For him it’s not that playing Mordhau didn’t increase his actual combat reflexes, it’s that he didn’t play ENOUGH… Read more »
None necessary. You voiced your critique in a constructive and helpful manner. I tried to explain my viewpoint in the same way. Perhaps we disagree, but I appreciated the discussion.

I may be one of the few people on this planet that just doesn’t care for Mordhau. I don’t think it’s well designed. The controls are awful, the novelty of the violence wears off REAL fast, I’m certain medieval armor actually protected people better than is shown in the game, and the more advanced armors don’t actually do anything. They don’t protect you better, and just look nice. So, once you have your armor spec’d out the way you want, there’s really not much more you can do to improve and once I realized that, my motivation to keep playing… Read more »
To be fair…. There is a little bit of logic here.

Finally, developers that give a damn!
Yeah, it’s pretty fun. Reminds me a lot of Chivalry, another game I really enjoyed about five years ago.

Why stop at the easily-predictable punchline?
Perhaps I’m still recalling upon the days when his punchlines went on one panel too many.

Right, I get it. My apologies.
