The panel with Captain Prime’s face gave me a flashback of the gruesome scene in the first episode of “The Boys”, when A-Train stopped after he run through Robin.

Y’know, Ethans respawn power’d make him a hell of a camera guy for superfights. I don’t really see the story going down that route but it’s funny to think about how he’d be able to take that tentacle to the face and just respawn with his camera,
“Hot pics of this tentacle that killed me once, taken right before impact!”
his gear respawns with him. As long as his power considers it his gear it should respawn with him undamaged. Biger question is would the memory still be there or would it reset to the last undamaged state, possibly just before the photo was taken. Ethan seems to have continuity of consciousness but no guarantee his gear gets the same.
And with that, certain ‘toys’ in that universe just had their stock jump 200%

Sigh. And this is why no one likes the 4th estate. Lilah is being very stupid and not only endangering herself but others as now the hero is having to watch over her as well as fight the villain.
In other words, a reflection of what reality would be like in a world where superheroes are accepted enough that you have their sort of registration system.
That’s exactly why I’m so excited about this strip. Watchmen and The Boys were such utterly basic hot takes on the idea. I’m glad Tim’s on the case so we can finally see something truly insightful.
