Private no class Cort Whatever, reporting for toilet duty! That arm ornament will sure come in handy!
On a more serious note, I think the good news is that he gets to work with La’Ni – she might be the only person left who could teach him more about using the Starcaster. After all, Nyrah’s experience is third-hand, she never used a Starcaster herself.
You laugh, but I bet you anything that Starcaster’ll buff the toughest, hardest grunge out of any toilet. Along with the toilet itself, the pipes, the floor, a circular portion of several decks directly beneath the toilet, a similarly sized portion of the hull of the ship, and a very slightly larger circular portion of a piece of space debris roughly 12,000 km away.
Problem is: These trenches need to zig zag so if there is an grenade enemy inside they have to kill each defender individually (optimal case).

I wonder if Tim decided that the current situation is ‘too good’ for Cort and he has to have him ‘ditched’ by a friend once again to make him more desperate and bitter against the Federation… after all this isn’t Star Trek where every story ends well …
There’s a part of me that really wants to see the party go head to head with these guys. There are few problems that can’t be solved by tossing a Speck at them.
“Furthermore, I wish you to wear this dress and bonnet…here is a unicycle. You will ride it wherever you go…also, you are to wear these clown shoes and refer to yourself as Mary.”
I mean, Cort really should have hashed out some negotiations during his meeting. Did he really just say “Yea, sign me up for the Federation!” without specifying that he wants his rank restored, or to work directly under Quel? He knows that he holds some serious cards, right?
While I agree with that sentiment: Cort did (kinda voluntarily re-) enlist, and we have no knowledge if there is an actual “draft” happening.
(I kinda suspect ‘drafted’ on this page should be ‘selected for’. If an actual draft existed, the “getting Cort to join up” arc of the last episode would not make much sense…)
Actually drafted already means that. According to google one of the definitions is:
2. select (a person or group of people) and bring them somewhere for a certain purpose.”he was drafted in to help fix the engine”
;The draft’ is commonly used to refer to conscription (the forced military recruitment), but the word ‘draft’ does have other usages.

There’s one big issue that his royal princeness might not have considered in his haste to go grab his enemy’s toys Their only starcaster is currently out of commission and separated from the main fleet (which he has already split in two) He can’t use the starcaster he just captured without an attunement time and 1/3 of his fleet is isolated in range of two functional starcasters and at least one fleet’s worth of angry Federation ships With any luck he might just have trapped himself in a rather fatal situation One major defeat and the surviving prince’s fleet might… Read more »

Cort could be put in charge of PT, he does have experience with running.
Someone new is going to take care of you.

It’s tougher than those old Toilet Duck commercials where the bottle was a plane and a tank!
*Snorts. Third hand.(cause how they bind to their hosts) Good one.
Well Cort, how about a little song … ?
You′re in the army now, oh-oo-oh you’re in the army now….
Sabaton is the best. 😁 Though once Cort is trained, a good song would be Winged Hussars when he and Lani show up during a big fight. Lol
“You’re in the Army Now” predates Sabaton by some decades. They only covered it.
Status Quo, you mean 🙂 (yeah, I know, that is also just the cover of the original)
There are trenches to be dug, private Cort
Finally all that rock carving practice is going to pay off!
Problem is: These trenches need to zig zag so if there is an grenade enemy inside they have to kill each defender individually (optimal case).

From another perspective though, this will allow for much faster growth.
Changes sometimes good and is always hard LOL.
There’s a part of me that really wants to see the party go head to head with these guys. There are few problems that can’t be solved by tossing a Speck at them.
They cant be solved but dissolved 😉
Speck is a great problem solvent.
And this is where we say “This deal is getting worse all the time……”
Droma: “I’m altering the deal. Pray I do not alter it any further.”
“Furthermore, I wish you to wear this dress and bonnet…here is a unicycle. You will ride it wherever you go…also, you are to wear these clown shoes and refer to yourself as Mary.”

He’s a deserter. He should be glad they aren’t shooting him ON SIGHT. At least, that’s what I recall, possibly wrong about Cort…
Someone give Quel a break
And get this man a shield!
Ahhhh, and there’s a single word that potentially lets the suicide bomber make perfect sense: “drafted.”
If you force people to kill and die for you without any say in the matter, you really can’t complain when they turn on you.
While I agree with that sentiment: Cort did (kinda voluntarily re-) enlist, and we have no knowledge if there is an actual “draft” happening.

Is that what we need to discover what’s in the fridge hanging by chains above the front door, to blast it open with a star-caster?
When you have a hammer, everything is a nail. Just be glad he hasn’t tried figuring out how to use it to masturbate….
La’Ni knocks Cort unconscious. “Ok, men. Cut that Starcaster off and leave him, we don’t need the rest of this traitor.”
“I am altering the deal. Pray I don’t alter it any further.” – Darth Vader
Well that solves at least a couple of problems, uh, for the corrupt bureaucrats
Let’s see how it backfires/doesn’t come to fruition.
