Nicole being a super wouldn’t make sense to not come up during the dating itself (and requires a full gallows of disbelief suspension to randomly have someone like that end up dating Ethan in the first place). But obsessive lunatic finding out about Analog by stalking Ethan could work.
Or it could just be someone else. There’s plenty of potential candidates, like the ominous shadowy people talking about Analog a while back.
From Nicole’s point of view, did Ethan’s being a super come up during their dating? Not sure why the reverse would have necessarily have been the case.
Ethan did leave that one time to “help Lucas with something”. He didn’t explain what it was, but also Nicole immediately jumped to accusing him and getting upset at him, rather than asking what. So she has no reason to suspect he’s a super.
That would be very reminiscent of the movie My Super Ex, where the crazy, clingy ex is a super hero and uses her powers to try to bully the boyfriend into getting back with her.
I agree, actually. I’ve thought from the first day that “Nicole” showed up that she reminded me of one of the female super heroes we saw earlier on- one that was no small amount of arrogant and jerkish.
Either a hero or has connections with a hero. I figured it would eventually come up. 👀

I was kinda expecting her to angrily throw a rock at Ethan and knock him out making Lucas have to quickly get him out of there to make sure he didn’t respawn in front of everyone.

Good, the kind of stress and threats that aren’t so heart-wrenching for a change. And it’s nice to see Ethan finally woken up and on the same page with Lucas as to seeing how terrible of a person Nicole really is. Looking forward to seeing what’s stalking them on Monday.

What I’ve been wondering is whether Nicole is that biggest super-hero they have, Captain-Something? (Don’t remember the exact name). She does have a very muscular build, and I believe the Captain does too – but I don’t remember if it was the same or not, or what hair colour the super-hero had. Though I hope we DON’T get a scenario where the biggest super-hero is their antagonist.

I really appreciate this arc. We don’t get a lot of stories about men being the victims of abuse like this, and I can say with experience that Ethan, at every stage of this arc, has felt… familiar. It’s making me feel seen.
Anyone thinking Abby felt unrealistic or that Ethan’s complacency with her was frustrating… Just know that he struggle can be real and it can look surprisingly close to this arc.
